She scored 6 goals in the tournament, and Brazil finished fourth.<br \/>\nIn 2006 and 2007 Marta was the FIFA Women\u2019s World Player of the year, and in 2007 in the Women\u2019s World Cup she won the Golden Ball award as the best player again, and she won the Golden Boot award as the topscorer of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pel\u00e9 contacts Marta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In July 2007, Marta and the Brazilian National Team for women beat the US U-20 National Team and won the Pan American Games at the famous Est\u00e1dio do Maracan\u00e3. Brazil won all three games in their group and Marta scored in the first two games. In the quarter final Brazil won over Australia and Marta scored 2-0 from penalty spot. Marta also scored in the semi-final, she scored two goals. They played against the United States and won 4-0. Brazil and Marta was not able to go all the way, they lost the final to Germany 2-0.
