We have to start winning some more football games.

Heitinga and Atletico Madrid has been a disappointment this season, and Atletico Madrid is only on a 6 place in the Primera league, and that just isn’t good an of for the ambition football club in Spain. Heitinga hasn’t played his best football season, but now with the new manager Heitinga hopes that he can lift his game to a new level.

Heitinga likes the new manager in Atletico Madrid.

Heitinga said to Fobazzo.com that”The first time I saw him was good. He spoke to us and said: I’m here for the club, for myself and to do what we have to do. And that is to win games,” says John Heitinga in an exclusive video interview with Fobazo.com. Heitinga hopes that Atletico Madrid now can play better football.

Heitinga feels completely at home already.

When Heitinga left the Netherlands and headed for Span, Heitinga hoped that he would like the country and now after a little time Heitinga loves to live in Spain. Heitinga took the car to Spain because he would have his 2 dogs with him. Heitinga loves his place and hope to stay there for many years.

Heitinga can speak the language.

Heitinga had taken a 2 years Spanish course so Heitinga is not coming just like many others football stars that starts playing football in another country Heitinga already can speak the language. Heitinga is a little sorry that he dint brings Ajax to the Champions League before he moved to Atletico Madrid but now Heitinga hopes he can do something big with Atletico Madrid.

Clarence Seedorf: football started in Ajax.

Another big carrier started in Ajax.

Seedorf started his football carrier in Ajax when he was just 16 years and 242 days old when he gat his debut on the best team I Ajax. That makes Seedorf the youngest football player ever had his debut on the first team in Ajax. Seedorf still have this record and they have bin a lot of talent after Seedorf, just look at Sneijder, van der Vaart, Heitinga and a lot more players.

Clarence Seedorf won a lot with Ajax.

Seedorf won his first Champions league when he was just 19 years old and at that time he newer new, that he should win this tournament so many times. Already then he was one of the most important players on the team. Seedorf won the Netherlands football championship the ere division 2 times in his time in Ajax, and maybe he is going to win more titles with Ajax.

Wesley Sneijder gat the rest he will need later in the tournament.

Wesley Sneijder was on the bench.

Sneijder, van der Vaart and a lot more players had a day of, in the game against Rumania, but still the Dutch football team manages to win the game against Romania with 2-0 and this shows that even when they play with the reserves the Dutch football team will always win. Sneijder enjoyed sitting and seeing that the team had the match under control.

9 players were from the reserves.

Along with Sneijder on the bench sat 8 more football players from the lineup against France and Italy, But the players wanted to win the match, because as Sneijder said winners always want to win football matches. When you have reserves like Robben, van Persie and Heitinga you can win all football matches.

Wesley Sneijder wants to celebrate the win over France.

The win over France gave Sneijder a reason to have a little party because now the Dutch football team is ready for the quarterfinals, the last game against Romania is not so important because the Dutch team is qualified. We are going to have a little party but not a lot, because we are professional and we have a quarterfinal soon says Sneijder. 

Are the reserves going to play against Romania?

I think the reserves is going to play the match against Romania, because if you get any injuries, the reserves will be ready, and it is not funny to be at the Euro finals 2008 and not play a single match. I think players like, Sneijder, van der Vaart, van der Saar, Ruud van Nistelroy and some of the players in the defense will get a break.

Heitinga most have a good Euro 2008.

If Heitinga plays the best he can, then the Dutch football team can get very far in the Euro championship. If Heitinga is having a bad Euro Championship, then the Dutch football team will not get very far. The Dutch football team has a week defense, and they will relay on Heitinga to play good.

Way can Heitinga make the deference?

Heitinga is a strong defender and he is properly the best Dutch football player to control the Dutch defense, and secure that the other football teams not will be scoring a lot of goals against the Netherlands. Heitinga can also be a important player in the way the Dutch football team will play the ball op the field.

First trainings’ match against Denmark.

The Dutch football team played against Denmark in Eindhoven, and they result was 1-1 not the best Result for Sneijder, van der Vaart, Heitinga and the rest of the Dutch football team. The Dutch team didn’t look like at team that is going to play in the Euro 2008 they played a bad game against an opponent who isn’t going to play in the Euro 2008.

Now the Dutch football team had every chance to show what a good football team they have. This was the match they should win, they should score a lot of goals and have the match under full control, and they scored 2 goals 1 from Robben and one from Wesley Sneijder. Rafael van der Vaart controlled the midfield in the time he was on the pitch.

What can the Dutch football stars?

A lot of Dutch football stars, have the specialty that they are strong and big, a lot of them are good with both legs, and they are shooting very hard. The Dutch football league are not super, bot they have a talent to develop a lot of football stars.

The old stars.

Some of the old stars are having a lot of success as coaches, in some of the biggest clubs in the Europe. Netherland have always had a lot of stars, earlier and now. Some of the football players I saw when I vas a young boy is still playing Edgar David’s and Ruud van Nistelroy. The biggest star the Netherlands have ever seen must be Johan Cruyff.

Heitingas time in Ajax.

The beginning of Heitinga’s career.

Heitinga was part of the Ajax youth setup as well as many other players on the Ajax team. He was 17 years old when he made his debut for the first team in Ajax on 26th of August 2001 against Feyenoord Rotterdam. Heitinga can play many places in the field, central defender, right-back and defensive midfielder, so he is a very all round player. He quickly established himself as an important player on the team.

Heitinga and injuries.

Heitinga was a strong addition to the team and he became first-choice player under Coach Co Adriaanse and later Ronald Koeman. He was the first choice until he suffered an injury with his knee, and the injury kept him on the side line for six month.  He had a very short comeback caused by the fact that he was injured again after one game, and this injury sentenced him to a very long break from football to recover from the injury.
He made his second comeback at the start of the 2003-04 season. He impressed everyone in the first game and from there on he was the first-choice central defender for the rest of the season.

John Gijsbert Alan Heitinga’s personal life.

Heitinga was born November 15th 1983 in Alphen aan den Rijn.
He has played as a central defender, rightback and defensive midfielder.
Some of Heitinga’s forces is that he I quick, strong and he has a good general view,
over the pitch.  He has recently signed a five-year contract with Atlético Madrid.
He plays for the Dutch National Football Team and Ajax, soon Atlético Madrid.

The beginning of Heitinga’s career

Heitinga started in Ajax where he was a part of the Ajax Youth setup
before making his debut for the team in August 2001. He quickly established himself
as a strong player and an addition to the football team. Heitinga has had a lot of
injures in the knee, and therefore his really breakthrough vas some years on the way. H
eitinga was a very unlucky man because when he returned after 6 months break,
Heitinga gat a new injury in the first match he participated in.
